Goals was simple in mind, more complicated approach in reality. Our client offered a high-quality service with a good social media following, but the online store didn't have traffic needed to be a valued place to purchase products. Lastly, the client wanted to be the top ranked local business in their specific area on Google Maps and Bing Maps based on ratings and SEO.

AO Solution

We developed a unique Conversion Rate Optimization plan and full omnichannel approach to try and convert their existing traffic into sales, and track data why the 'abandoned cart' statistics were high. Agent Optimized set up multiple Google Business accounts specific to each service the client offered, and used geofencing to cast a net around a 3 mile radius. All local ads, and paid search ads, were operating in a small area to capture neighborhoods in proximity. Additional ads were launched in distant cities around the United States to high population areas people would like travel from in the specific time of year: New York, Canada, California, Colorado, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia, and New Jersey.

Market Challenge

Watersports and travel based company new to market in South Florida. Highly saturated and over 20 retail competitors in a 5 mile radius. Our challenge was to create engaging media and brand creatives used in conjunction with ads to bring people to sanctioned events. The second major challenge is the client is dependent on weather, cancellations, and delays where ads budget can become exhausted quickly. The company just set up their additional retail store at an expense of $100,000.

Results

We first met with the client in 2020, and now the client's retail business is #1 Ranked on local searches for their niche within a 3 mile-radius. The e-commerce store has increased from 4,829 visitors (ending 2022) to 12,988 visitors (ending 2023). This equates to an increase in 169% visitor base. The number of sessions grew from 6,067 to 15,864 in 2022 and 2023, respectively; an increase in 161%. The total cost of the ad campaigns were $780 per month, and $1200 per month in local advertising and hosting events. Overall revenue has increased an additional $82,500 per year.
